CodeFights, a scrappy new startup founded by MIT grads turned Google and Oracle engineers aims to create an online arena for hacker phenoms to hone their coding talents through real-time competitions -

Offering head-to-head battles as well as tournament based play for a massively growing community of coders. They are creating a business around the popular, organized Hackathon’s being held at some of the most innovative companies in the world.

Backed by the former Head of Strategy at Microsoft, they're looking to change the way companies like Uber, Asana and Dropbox hire by giving those without the stacked resume, an opportunity to demonstrate skill, instead of relying on experience.

I chat with CEO Tigran Sloyan about how CodeFights is changing the game for the better.
