Tammy Camp entered the crypto scene back in 2011 by joining Jed McCaleb on the Stellar project. She has enjoyed a phenomenally successful career and was also a previously a Partner at 500 Startups, but it's the future that she is building that really excites me.

Here in 2018, Tammy is the founder and CEO of Stronghold, which is the first Silicon Valley venture-backed fintech startup on distributed ledger technology. The exciting company is also hitting the headlines for all the right reasons and is also working with IBM to create a new stablecoin built on Stellar.

I invited Tammy onto the show today to learn more about her ambition of creating an amazing trading experience with Stronghold. We discuss how new features, flexibility, and a simple, safe trading experience are top of the agenda.

Many will instantly think that Stellar and Stronghold are the perfect fit for each other. Tammy explains that like Stellar, they want to make sending money as easy as sending an email. Banking for the underbanked is another topic the team are passionate about, as well as helping contribute to Stellar’s growth.

“We look forward to putting this funding to work to build a new financial ecosystem where institutions can seamlessly trade and manage assets on behalf of their clients.”

Although we tackle the serious topics around creating new world solution built on trust and transparency, we also discuss her eclectic interests outside of crypto that has even resulted in a few breaking a few world records on occasion too.

Today's tech podcast episode is a must listen for anyone passionate all curious about blockchain, crypto and the brave new world that is currently being built.
