Mapbox, is the leading real-time location data, mapping and design platform for developers, designers and enterprises serving over 1.1 million registered developers, and touching 350 million users every month around the world. You probably haven't heard of them, but you should have.
From finding a coffee spot on Foursquare, a date on Tinder to pinning a vacation spot on Pinterest, to geo-tagging notes in Evernote and Strava maps for runners and cyclists. Even Facebook and Snap are their customers too.
On today's daily tech podcast, I wanted to find out more about the tech we take for granted on our favorite apps. Essentially, Mapbox is a mapping platform for developers. Its building blocks make it easy to integrate location into any mobile or online application, and the company is changing the way people move around cities and understand our planet.
