San Francisco-based Loudr builds products and services that help content creators, aggregators, and music services identify rights holders, secure mechanical licenses, and pay royalties to music publishers.

Powered by technology that parses publishing metadata and matches sound recordings to compositions, Loudr makes it easy for builders and creators to secure music rights clearance and report royalties at scale.

To date, the company has distributed over $1 million in royalties to songwriters and music publishers worldwide.

Chris Crawford, CEO, oversees business and corporate development. He directs negotiations and develops relationships with major music publishers, digital retailers, rights collection societies, and data partners, and drives overall strategy and vision for the Loudr business.

Before launching Loudr, Chris worked with the public relations, institutional sales, and iTunes promotions teams at Apple. A former a cappella director and arranger, Chris is an avid supporter of the vocal music community and speaks regularly on music business events, including panels and seminars in San Francisco, New York, Nashville, Los Angeles, and Boston.
